Not only do we strive to design and create innovative products that will traverse the globe and improve lives, we believe in creating a culture of innovation in our organization. We are innovating the way we use data, structure our business, and even approach failure. We are cultivating an environment that encourages creative trial and error.
In the coming months we will be launching a Help Desk management department for our customers to log complaints, report quality issues, track and trace orders, to name a few. This is ultimately aimed at improving customer relationships and putting the right team on the right problem, to find the right solution.

RAW STORES
Our new high-reach truck arrived this week. It allows us to reduce wasted space for storage and transportation of our raw material.
IMM PLANTS
In IMM Plant 2 we have installed a new In-Mould Labelling (IML) machine to statically insert labels into a mould in order to create brand labelled products.
TOOLROOM
Our mould shelves have been installed and we are systematically logging moulds into their dedicated bays. Together with our new ERP management system we can better track the life of the mould and proactively plan preventative maintenance.
ASSEMBLY
We are constantly improving our processes by implementing Lean 6 Sygma principles. Lean manufacturing is a production method aimed primarily at reducing times within the production system and assembly.
DISTRIBUTION
We are going paperless in our delivery process to ensure that our customers always receive their delivery notes. By utilizing our new sign-on-glass portal, customers receive a signed copy of their delivery note mailed to them immediately.
D & E
We have added a large 3D printing machine to our prototype studio for a more cost effective solution, with better turn-around time which will benefit our customers. We now have 6 of our own 3D printing machines.
SYSTEMS
It’s an exciting time because our new MES system, Epicor, has gone live this week. All our machine recordings and job cards will now be done digitally.
QUALITY
We now have a dedicated quarantine area for products that require further testing. We have also implemented an identification system at each IM machine to clearly identify rejected production.
CULTURE
Because technological innovations are occurring at an unprecedented pace, long-term planning has become near impossible. We are thinking differently about the way we run our organization so that we can continue succeeding in this new world, but still with the aim of operational excellence.
